The Last Gift workshop is designed to help you ease the burden on your family of so many decisions at the difficult time of your death. This workshop will help you prepare an outline of your wishes upon your death, including what you want for your service, where important papers can be found,  information needed for an obituary, and many other details your loved ones will need to know.

The Workshop will be held in the Great Hall at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, 425 North DuPont Highway, Dover, Delaware. Registration begins at 9:00 AM and a light breakfast will be served. The workshop begins at 9:30 AM and finishes at 11:00.

Join IMAGINE on Loockerman Street for the annual Dover St. Patrick's Day Parade, and activities. Lots to see, do, and hear!

Parade steps off at 1:00 pm, but IMAGINE will be entertaining visitors to Dover beginning at 11:00 am, and continuing after the parade until 3 pm.

C'mon out and show us your best Irish Jig! 

DOVER SYMPHONY ANNOUNCES SPRING CLASSICAL CONCERT

Dover Symphony Orchestra
“Dvorak and More” Spring Classical Concert
Stefan Xhori, Violin Soloist

The Dover Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Donald Buxton, will launch the second half of its 2016-2017 season on Sunday, March 19, 2017, 3:00 p.m. at the Dover Downs Rollins Center.

Centerpiece of the concert is Dvorak’s well-known Symphony in E Minor, From the New World. Stefan Xhori, our talented concertmaster, will be the featured soloist for Dvorak’s Romance for violin and orchestra. Additional works by Tschaikowsky and Moussorgsky will be performed.

Mr. Xhori has been an active performer in Albania, his native country, Greece and France, and continues to play with many organizations in the tristate area since he moved to the US in 1993. He teaches violin in Dover at the Music School of Delaware and at his home studio.

Valet parking will be offered at $5.00. Additionally there will be free shuttle service throughout the parking lots. Sweet treats will continue to be offered at our Bake Sale.

Admission prices are Adults--$20, Seniors/Students/Military--$15. Young people under 18 are free with a paying adult. For ticket sales log on to www.doversymphony.org or call 302-270-1903. Tickets will also be sold at the door.

Attention bargain hunters! ! !  Bargains galore await you at the Delaware Agricultural Museum’s Annual Benefit Auction, Flea Market and Bake & Book Sale on Saturday, March 25^th, at the DAMV, 866 N. Dupont Highway in Dover.  This indoor Flea Market opens at 8 a.m.  -  rain or shine!  Flea market tables will be filled with antiques, new and used collectibles, tools, furniture, household items and more.  The silent and live auctions will start at 9 a.m.  Auction items will include gift cards from local businesses, golf outings, a grandfather clock, antique chest, marble inlay dresser, antique desk and outdoor dining furniture.  Refreshments can be purchased throughout the day from the bake sale table and caterers from Where Pigs Fly will be selling lunch items.

Admission is free! ! !  So gather up your friends and family and plan on spending the day looking for treasures at bargain prices at the Delaware Ag Museum on March 25^th!
