Spirit of America

Spirit of America
The Dover Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Donald Buxton, will
conclude its 2016-2017 season on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at 3:00 p.m. at the
Dover Downs Rollins Center.
The orchestra will perform “Spirit of America” with a variety of selections that
celebrate America. Traditionally our May concert includes Armed Forces
Salute. Please feel free to join us in your service-related uniform!
Valet parking will be offered. Additionally there will be free shuttle service
throughout the parking lots. Sweet treats will continue to be offered at our Bake
Sale.
Admission prices are Adults--$20, Seniors/Students/Military/First Responders--
$15. First responders includes all police, fire, EMT, ambulance, corrections,
and animal rescue personnel in the area. Young people under 18 are free
with a paying adult. For ticket sales log on to www.doversymphony.org or
call 302-270-1903. Tickets will also be sold at the door. For further

U.S. Foreign Trade Zone Opportunities (2.5 CLEs)
The Delaware Economic Development Office is partnering with CT Corporation, a Wolters Kluwer Company, and World Trade Center Delaware to host an educational training session on May 16th to explore the federal laws and regulations governing Free Trade Zones (FTZs) and how Delaware's FTZ framework can help our state's businesses grow. FTZs are an area within the United States that the government considers out the county or outside of the U.S. Customs' territory. Delaware's designation as an FTZ (#99), boosts the state's competitiveness at a national and international level.

The U.S. Foreign Trade Zone Opportunities training session will be conducted by Scott Taylor, Esq. and will be held at Theater N, 1007 N. Orange Street in Wilmington from 4:00-6:30 p.m. on May 16th. DEDO has partnered with Wolters Kluwer to offer 2.5 continuing legal education credits for attendees that require CLEs. The cost of the training is $50. Registration is required and available online at http://de.gov/5j5.

The purpose of this tournament is to promote the wonderful relationship between the Dover Community and the Dover Air Force Base. Each team is made up of two community members and two Airmen. This tournament is for golfers of every skill level!

10am registration, 11am shotgun start

$70 per golfer

$70 to sponsor an Airman to golf

Lunch and Dinner will be provided as will snacks & beverages on the course!
