The CDCC has Partnered with 53 Strategic to Present the 2019 Safety Summit.
Additional Info on certifications:
Our SaVE program provides two certificates of training to those in attendance who successfully meet the objectives outlined in our course description as attending a 4hr Surviving a Violent Encounter/Mass Trauma event. The certifications may be used for insurance purposes, legal liability, active shooter or mass trauma training requirements by OSHA, Organizational training, and many others. The second certification covers training in the use of tourniquets and bleeding control under the course designed by the American College of Surgeons Bleeding Control Training Program. This program partnership was the work of the Department of Homeland Security and FEMA's Ready.gov initiative Stop the Bleed.
Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign and call-to-action. Stop the Bleed is intended to cultivate grassroots efforts that encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. 53 Strategic's training cadre will provide certified training and certification to those who successfully meet the training objectives established by the American College of Surgeons, Council on Trauma, and The Hartford Consensus. We have partnered with R.A.T.S Tourniquet and are also providing one tourniquet for each person in attendance. The B-con certification also provides certification in the use of a tourniquet in mass trauma bleeding control situations.
