Fall Classical Concert

“If It Ain’t Baroque”

 

The Dover Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Donald Buxton will open its 50th season on Saturday, October 14, 2017. The concert will begin at 4:00 p.m. at Calvary Church on East Lebanon Road in Dover.

“If It Ain't Baroque” features works of three baroque era composers: “Autumn” from Vivaldi's “Four Seasons,” Bach's “Orchestral Suite No. 3” and Handel's “Music for the Royal Fireworks.”  The program will conclude with a performance of “Symphony No. 104” by Haydn, transitioning into the early classical period.

Again this season, sweet treats will be sold at our Bake Sale.
Season tickets are available: Adults--$75, Seniors/Students/Military/First Responders--$55. Single tickets are also available for all concerts. Prices are Adults--$20, Seniors (62+)/Students/Military/First Responders--$15. First responders include all police, fire, EMT, ambulance, corrections, and animal rescue personnel in the area.
