The Dover/Kent MPO has completed  a logo contest and announced a new logo. The logo was designed by Ian Peters of Dover. Mr. Peters works for the Delaware Highway Administration as a data analyst. There were five finalists that were voted for online. Mr. Peters' logo was the winner of the online voting by the public, and was unanimously voted in by the MPO Council on November 14, 2018.

Helen Wiles, Public Outreach Manager for the Dover/Kent MPO says that the new logo is "Very modern, very clean, and helps to tell folks about what we do." The new logo will slowly start to replace the old one on all of the MPO publications and online portals.
