The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Fly High Cheer & Tumble on Friday, April 12. The event was held at Fly High’s facility located at 21 S. Railroad Ave. in Wyoming.
Owned and managed by Andrea Caswell
and her husband David, Fly High Cheer & Tumble is a family blend of
unmatched coaching experience steeped in the values of integrity, service, and
excellence, which the owners embrace after living and learning alongside Air
Force
families for over 20 years. After the Air Force brought them back to the Dover area, they decided to act on their longtime dream to bring a different kind of facility for cheer and tumbling to Kent County – and Fly High was born. Their focus is simple: quality instruction with positive-minded coaches who demonstrate leadership and emphasize safety and proper technique. By putting quality first, athlete progression and team performance follows naturally. The goal is to not only progress their athletes’ physical skills, but also their mental and moral aspects of real life, which will outlast their time in the gym.
Currently,
Fly High offers a variety of cheerleading related programs: all-star travel and
limited travel; tumbling classes, clinics, and camps; stunting classes,
clinics, and camps; tumbling and stunting private lessons; camps and clinics
with special guests from the all-star cheerleading industry; yoga; flyer flexibility
and conditioning classes; birthday parties, and open tumbling sessions.
Fly
High is eager to create a movement in the community that supports total
engagement in not only cheerleading and tumbling, but other indoor-gym facility
sports and fitness programs.
Ultimately, one of Fly High’s goals is to demonstrate the benefits of active participation in other
programs such as: CrossFit, karate, dance, scouting, Boys & Girls Clubs, school recreational programs, and
parent/child classes.
Fly High strives to make purposeful contributions to society for happier, healthier and more holistic young adults who will have a positive impact for generations to come. As philanthropists at heart, the founders of Fly High aspire to a future where their business can give back to military families and the local community through team service projects, and by hosting free events like “Deployed Spouse’s Dinners” and “Give Parents a Break Night.” Fly High wants families and friends to gather in a safe and fun atmosphere, an endeavor which gives reprieve from the stress of life and facilitates family resilience.
Fly
High is optimistic that its customers will derive unrivaled fun, athletic
improvement and life skills at great value for their time and money - because
at Fly High, they aim high.
