Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Claws & Paws on Thursday,
September 26th, at 5 pm. The ceremony was held at their location at 319 Squawigm Rd. in Dover. Chamber members, ambassadors, and staff members joined owner, Katie Mitchell, at Claws & Paws as they celebrated the growth of their pet sitting business.
The mission of Claws & Paws is to provide the highest quality pet sitting services in Central Delaware to our area’s precious “fur babies” and their families. Katie’s experience of working with animals has spanned over 20 years. Her early years as a veterinarian technician provided her with knowledge and skills in the area of animal medicine. Ms. Mitchell is happy to administer medications, trim nails, and express anal glands in addition to providing pet sitting services. She is happy to make “drop in” visits at the owner’s home, watch pets at her own home, and walk pets while their owners are gone during the day.
Claws & Paws is thrilled to be a member of the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce and looks forward to working with them to grow her business. She is excited to have participated in chamber mixer events and is also beginning to share her services as a vendor at various expo-type events. She looks forward to finding ways to give back to the community. To honor the service of our military folks, Katie is pleased to give a discount to all military and retired military personnel.
