The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce Joins BLUvintage for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
The
Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce (CDCC) joined BLUvintage for a Ribbon Cutting
Ceremony to celebrate their grand opening in Dover and their membership with
the CDCC.
Though BLUvintage has had an online presence and been open for the past three months, they had their official ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, June 17th. Owner, Theresa Owens, joins the downtown shopping district, bringing a flare of what she calls a “coastal and country” style for women.
Theresa and her staff strive to help customers find their perfect outfit with quality pieces at an affordable price point of $40 or less. BLUvintage carries sizes XS – 3XL, they also offer Sanuk shoes for men, women and children, saving locals a trip to the beach for sandals and flip flops.
The nostalgia of Dover’s past can be seen throughout her space as Theresa repurposed much of the wood and furniture that remained from the Delaware Shoe Repair store. As a life-long resident of Kent County Theresa is excited to plant roots in Dover and hopes that BLUvintage will continue to grow. Plans for expansion into the upstairs portion of the building are already underway, so be sure to look for more exciting news coming from her soon.
