Pearl Oyster Grill, a premier seafood restaurant, will be the latest addition to Dover Downs Hotel & Casino’s dining offerings late this summer, officials announced today.

The new eatery, which Dover Downs Hotel & Casino will own and operate, will add 60-80 jobs to Central Delaware, comes as a result of the recent passage of casino relief legislation by the Delaware General Assembly.

The new legislation offers relief incentives if capital expenditure investments are undertaken. Pearl Oyster Grill will be constructed in the footprint of the former Doc Magrogan’s Oyster House and is expected to open by late summer of 2018.

“Pearl Oyster Grill will be a great addition for our facility and our guests,” said Ed Sutor, president and CEO of Dover Downs Hotel & Casino.

Pearl Oyster Grill will offer a full seafood menu, featuring fresh oysters, Maine lobster tail, Alaskan king crab legs, shrimp platters and crab cakes, as well as daily specials, appetizers, specialty drinks, an extensive wine list and more.
