      The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Edward Jones on Monday, November 11, 2019, at 11:11 am.  The ceremony was held at the new office of Karen Weardon at 17723 Coastal Highway, Unit 4, in Lewes, Delaware.  Chamber staff and friends joined Karen Weardon and the folks at Edward Jones to celebrate this grand opening!

      Karen Weardon, a financial advisor with Edward Jones since 2015, is happy to use her former collegiate athletic background to assist her as she coaches her clients in the most supportive and encouraging way in order to guide them to financial success. Karen is known for offering straight-forward advice and continually works to educate her clients to help ensure they are fully informed regarding their options and opportunities. From growing wealth to saving for educational expenses to planning and living successful retirements, Karen is proud to serve clients from a variety of backgrounds with wide-ranging goals. Karen is a believer in collaboration and often works through situations with a team of local CPAs, attorneys, and other trusted professionals in order to create the best financial path for her clients, while maintaining their complete confidentiality. 

      As a proud member of a southern Delaware community, Karen is anxious to give back. The spirit of volunteerism that Edward Jones champions was a major draw for her when she chose to join the firm. Karen volunteers with Wesley College’s women’s basketball program. She is also an active volunteer with many local events and organizations in our region. In addition, she fosters dogs in need until they find their forever homes.
