      The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Caring Wallflower Farm Country Store and Creamery at 9 am on Saturday, November 30, 2019.  The ceremony was held at their location at 4977 Kenton Road in Dover.  Chamber staff and friends joined the folks at Wallflower Farm as they recognized the hard work and dedication of their family members and friends who helped make the dream of this business become a reality – and as they celebrated the official opening of Wallflower Farm Country Store and Creamery. 

      Wallflower Farm is a small, working farm that raises organically fed, free range chickens for eggs, as well as goats and horses. The mission of Wallflower Farm is to provide the community with a farm friendly market where local artisans and those in the agricultural industry can sell their goods. Tracie Reinhardt and her family have owned Wallflower Farm for more than twelve years and for much of that time they have dreamed of opening a Country Store and Creamery, where they can sell their eggs and goat milk soap made right on the farm, in addition to products made by Hopkins Creamery. They know that, as the community purchases products produced by these local farmers, beekeepers, and other artisans, they, too, have an opportunity to support local industry. Born and raised in Delaware, Tracie’s family could think of no better way to start a business than through their own farm. 

      A proud member of the Central Delaware community, Wallflower Farm strives to support local artisans and the agriculture industry in general. This is their way of giving back to the local community. They are eager to promote products that are grown and crafted right here in the middle of our state. In addition, they also wish to support our local military personnel and first responders by offering a year-round 10% discount to them as a thank you for what they do.
