Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Caring Hearts Home
Care, LLC, at 12 pm on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. The ceremony was held at their location at 838
Walker Road, Ste 22-3 in Dover. Chamber
staff, ambassadors, and friends joined the folks at Caring Hearts Home Care as
they celebrate their five years of service to the Dover community.
Caring Hearts Home Care, LLC was founded by Dawn Sbriglia in 2014 with one goal in mind: providing quality care for seniors in their homes, while maintaining independent living that seemed so vital for their physical and mental health. When starting Caring Hearts, she made the decision to write her own company’s policies and procedures, in order to gain a better understanding of the governing laws that are in place to protect clients, and to ensure their high quality.
Prior
to Caring Hearts, Sbriglia spent more than 20 years in the medical field.
Beginning with her time spent as an EMT, Dawn knew that she had a passion for
helping others. This passion continued
to grow through her nursing career where she worked in a hospital setting, long
term care, and senior living facilities. This experience inspired her to find a
way to use her skills, passion, and innate desire to help seniors, by opening
an in-home care agency. She opened her
business in 2014 and found a way to help seniors maintain independent living.
She now has a management team and an amazing group of caregivers who share this
passion and goal.
Caring Hearts Home Care provides an affordable and compassionate option that provides care for aging family members. The talented staff there becomes an extension of family that can assist with the challenges of aging, while preserving the dignity of the client. This support combined with the opportunity to maintain the consistency of staying at home – especially during a time when it may feel like the client’s whole world is changing -- can make all the difference. With ever-changing needs, Caring Hearts makes it a priority to support the client and his/her family every step of the way while staying true to what’s most important -- quality care.
