The Modern Maturity Center hosts its second Friday Night Fry-Up, Friday, April 6, from 5 to 7 p.m. Eat-in or carry-out. Stop by and pick up dinner for the family. This is a fundraiser for MMC to support programs for older adults in the aftermath of state funding cuts. Two menu choices are available - $15 for fried fish, mac & cheese, cole slaw, corn on the cob, cornbread and a beverage or $15 for fried chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy, cole slaw, corn on the cob, cornbread and a beverage.. Desserts are also available for purchase for $4 each - homemade strawberry shortcake or a sundae bar. A cash bar will be open as well. Advance ticket sales only. Tickets may be purchased at the Modern Maturity Center Member Services desk, Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. or call 302-734-1200 x167 for more information.
