Delaware Transit Corporation (DTC) today announced changes to DART Statewide Bus Services to become effective Sunday, September 12, 2021.

After receiving customer feedback at Community Conversations and virtual Public Hearing Workshop, DART listened to its customers and the public, and as a result, a change was made to the original proposal.

Original “Route 40 - Weekday service frequencies would operate every 25 minutes.”

Route 40 - Weekday service frequencies will be increased to operate every 25 minutes. Based
on customer requests and comments received from the community, Route 40 will no longer operate "Limited" service from the US13/40 Split to/from Wilmington, it will operate as "local" service, serving all existing bus stops along the US 13 Corridor to/from Wilmington.
