Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Delaware is pleased to announce its fourth quarter BluePrints for the Community grant awardees, which will collectively receive more than $904,000 in funding. BluePrints for the Community has committed more than $5.5 million in 2021 through its standard and small grants programs.

   “Highmark is proud of all the work our nonprofit and community partners have done in 2021 and throughout the pandemic, and we look forward to the impact they will have as we enter 2022,” said Nick Moriello, President of Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Delaware.

· Amanecer will receive funding for their program focused on building the pipeline of bilingual and culturally responsive behavioral health professionals.
· Tomaro’s Change will receive support to provide free to low-cost therapeutic services to youth and their families who are uninsured or underinsured.
· Meet Me at the Well will receive a grant to support their Healthcare Ecosystem Professional Pathway to give survivors of human trafficking the opportunity to pursue health careers.
· Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity will receive a grant for their Health Homes initiative to address health hazards in the home.
· Delaware Division of Libraries will receive funding to support the scale-up of telehealth services to an additional 10 public libraries across the state in all three counties, following a BluePrints grant that assisted its pilot launch in Sussex County.
· Energize Delaware will receive a grant to improve home health for patients, families, seniors and the most vulnerable in communities, in partnership with health care providers.

   “This quarter’s grantees continue the BluePrints tradition of thoughtful leadership, innovative programs and evidence-based approaches. It is wonderful to partner with them to improve health for Delawareans,” said Rita Landgraf, chair of the Blueprints for the Community Advisory Council.

   The donor-advised fund focuses on projects and programs throughout Delaware that improve health outcomes and is accepting applications on a quarterly basis at www.delcf.org/grants . All Delaware 501c3 organizations, as well as non-revenue generating State agencies, are eligible to submit proposals that address social determinants of health, increase access to health care for the uninsured and underserved, reduce health disparities in minority communities, support early childhood health, or recruit and train health care professionals.
