The SBA is proud to announce its Delaware District Office is ready to accept nominations for the 2023 National and District Small Business Week Awards, including the annual Small Business Person of the Year Award. Self-nominations and third-party nominations are accepted in all award categories.

- Minority Small Business Champion or Business of the Year (Delaware District)
- Veteran Small Business Champion or Business of the Year (Delaware District)
- Women in Business Champion or Business of the Year (Delaware District)
- Rural Communities Champion Award (Delaware District)
- Frank Masley Award (Delaware District)
“Every year, SBA’s Small Business Awards are an incredible opportunity to spotlight Delaware’s small businesses and their champions, with our Small Business Person of the Year competing at a national level to become America’s Small Business Person of the Year,” said Michelle Harris, SBA Delaware Director. “SBA Delaware looks forward to receiving nominations in all categories, including SBA Delaware’s newest award category, the Rural Communities Champion Award, designed to celebrate an individual who strives to advance rural business ownership, or a rural owned business owner who has experienced the rewards and difficulties of owning their own business.”
The SBA Delaware Office must receive all nominations by electronic submission ONLY to the District’s BOX account found at www.sba.gov/nsbw no later 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time on December 8, 2022.
