As Bayhealth continues to expand access to outstanding healthcare in Sussex County, the Bayhealth Foundation is supporting the growth by hosting informational sessions in local communities that highlight various clinicians and services.
In September the residents of Heritage Shores in Bridgeville heard from urologist and urogynecologist Dr. Ray Bologna, MD, MBA, and learned about the personalized care he offers. Dr. Bologna is the only physician in central and southern Delaware who specializes in urogynecology—a branch of medicine that treats conditions of the pelvic floor, including bladder and bowel control problems, pelvic floor prolapse, and other types of dysfunction.
Bayhealth Cancer Institute Executive Director and Senior Director of Operations, Oncology Service Line John Shevock, FACHE, FACMPE, visited Plantation Lakes in Millsboro in October and highlighted the comprehensive cancer services and programs offered through the Bayhealth Cancer Insitute. Residents also learned more about Bayhealth’s new Emergency and Urgent Care Center located within Bayhealth Total Care in Milton.
“At the Bayhealth Foundation, we consider it a privilege to inform our expanding community about the compassionate, comprehensive care provided by our teams across Bayhealth,” said Lindsay Rhodenbaugh, DMin, Bayhealth Foundation president. “Our commitment to this community extends beyond central Delaware. We want Sussex County residents to be informed about the options available to them.”
