Members of the First State Manufactured Housing Association donated generously to help make the 2019 holiday season more joyful.  We are pleased that through the generosity of our members we were able to share in the good will of this time of year.  Over $2,000 worth of non –perishable items were delivered to food pantries around Kent and Sussex Counties.

“For 36 years, Caroling on The Circle has put food on the table for countless families here in Sussex County,” County Administrator Todd F. Lawson said. “More than that, this tradition of people helping others, of neighbors helping neighbors, has put hope in the hearts of so many individuals. We could not do this without the generous support of our community, including partners like First State Manufactured Housing Association, and we thank them for their steadfast commitment to helping end hunger here in Sussex County.”

"We are so thankful for the First State Manufactured Housing Association and its members. Because of their support to the Capital Holiday Celebration Food Drive we were able to donate a significantly larger amount of non-perishable food to two local pantries this year. Their generosity has helped to make the holiday season so much brighter for many families in Kent County, " said Cristal Brenneman, Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce Director of Special Events.

“We have been fortunate to participate in the food drives to benefit the communities we serve, and we are very thankful to our members who donate so generously to those less fortunate during the holiday season," said Jen Allen, First State Manufactured Housing Association’s Executive "This time of the year is perfect for giving; the food drives will help stock the shelves of local food pantries and provide support for many families in need,” Allen continued.
