MOAA $1,500 Scholarships Available to Graduating Kent County DE JROTC Cadets

The Dover Delaware Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) has $1,500 scholarships available for Class of 2023 JROTC cadets, graduating from the following Kent County Delaware area high schools:
· Caesar Rodney, USAF JROTC
· Dover, USAF JROTC
· First State Military Academy, USMC JROTC
· Smyrna, USAF JROTC.
These scholarship awards are based on the cadet’s JROTC training accomplishments, academic performance, and community service involvement.
The scholarship applications are available from the Senior JROTC Instructor at each high school named above.
Completed application must be received by Dover MOAA not later than Saturday, March 18th, 2023.
Attached is a photo of last year’s winners along with Kristin Garramone of Roma’s (members of the Chamber). Roma’s hosted the fundraising dinner for us last year.
Chamber members are welcome to support our scholarship fund with individual contributions and attend the fundraising dinner at Roma’s on February 16.
Just tell the server at Roma’s that you are present for the fundraiser and Roma’s will donate a percentage of the house to our scholarship fund.
