NeighborGood Partners’ Restoring Central Dover hosts a variety of community building events during NeighborWorks Week
WHO: NeighborGood Partners, a member of the national NeighborWorks network Our mission is to strengthen communities through housing, lending, and education.
WHAT: NeighborGood Partners, together with the Restoring Central Dover initiative, will kick off NeighborWorks Week Monday, June 5th with six days of community building events-where staff, partners, and volunteers will host a youth lead prevention workshop, an elderly lawn service day, financial education, healthy cooking, and gardening demonstration, plus a family friendly movie night! These events are a part of an annual nationwide NeighborWorks Week (June 3-10) celebration, where thousands of volunteers, business professionals, and local and national elected and civic leaders’ partner for a week of service and celebration of homeownership and successful community development.
