The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce (CDCC) hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Divine Zone, LLC on Wednesday, August 30th, at 12pm. The event was held at the Residence Inn by Marriott Dover, 600 Jefferic Blvd, in Dover, Delaware. Chamber members and friends joined owner Kevin O’tey, and the Divine Zone, LLC team and the community to celebrate the Grand Opening of this new small business!
The mission of the Divine Zone, LLC, is simply to provide sound, comprehensive massage services with the customer care and elegance one would receive in a highly-rated spa. Kevin O'tey, owner & Lead Therapist, is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), and engages in providing massage services to clients as well as the daily business of marketing, sales, and logistics. This is a family-owned small business, so these action items are accomplished in conjunction with his wife Samantha and their daughters.
At the Divine Zone, LLC, clients can receive treatments such as, relaxation, deep tissue massages, sports massages, prenatal & post-partum massages, aromatherapy, reflexology, and motor vehicle accident specialties. They will soon be offering clothing merchandise along with massages packages available to returning clients. Massage therapy works by applying manual pressure and manipulation techniques to the muscles, tendons, ligaments, and other soft tissues of the body. This helps to release tension, improve blood flow, alleviate pain, and promote relaxation. Massage therapy offers numerous benefits, including stress reduction, pain relief, improved circulation, increased flexibility, enhanced immune function, reduced anxiety and depression, and a sense of relaxation and well-being.
“My hope is to provide therapy to all people in order to relieve stress and tension, to improve range of motion and circulation, to enhance a state of well-being and offer a preventive lifestyle through all services provided in a proficient manner," added O'tey.
The Divine Zone, LLC, began as a completely mobile massage therapy company, however this Ribbon Cutting ceremony officially marked the opening of a brick & mortar location at the Residence Inn by Marriot Dover, to serve not only the hotel guests, but also local clientele.
“The two teams of The Divine Zone & Marriott met at a CDCC Sunset Mixer and hit it off immediately. After multiple discussions, we realized a joint venture would be mutually beneficial to both companies. This collaboration provides our clients the opportunity to come to a fixed location or partake in our mobile massage service in the comfort of your home. Simultaneously, it provides the hotel with a substantial additional amenity to their guests,” shared O’tey. We strive to have a positive impact in the communities, counties, and The First State as a whole, supporting the needs of our citizens and local business alike,” O’tey continued.
The Divine Zone, LLC, has increasingly supported their fellow CDCC members. Foundationally, The Divine Zone, LLC, looks to support the mission of the CDCC. As they grow, through support, they intend to pay it forward through collaborative efforts with other members to grow the footprint of Commerce in Delaware starting with Kent County. “Our intention is to give back through providing jobs to our young, upcoming working class.”
