The Delaware Small Business Chamber awards are some of the most prestigious in Delaware and surrounding communities. Over 3500 local business owners and leaders are invited to vote each year on various categories.

On April 7th, The DSBC held their 11th annual awards brunch at Delaware’s Restaurateur’s Chesapeake Inn Ballroom. Dover Federal served as a brunch sponsor and a presenter of the awards. Dover Federal was nominated for 3 awards and won 2 awards.  Sue Yocum, Dover Federal’s Community Relations Officer, describes how proud she was of this incredible moment. “We are so honored to serve as a presenting sponsor at the Delaware Small Business Chamber’s Annual Meeting and Blue Ribbon Awards Brunch and to accept 2 awards on behalf of Dover Federal Credit Union for ‘Best Community Involvement’ and ‘Best in Kent County’.”

The Delaware Small Business Chamber is an independent chamber of commerce supporting local small businesses throughout the State of Delaware and the surrounding business communities. They help companies and individuals in the business community connect, grow, and thrive in business education, events, and programs, helping to be a voice when needed. Their focus is on businesses with 0-100 employees and any business that economically supports the small business community. DSBC offers programs and opportunities for small business owners to meet and work with their peers to help start, build and maintain their companies.
