KSI is excited to receive $7,775 from Food Lion Feeds to help improve its food service delivery, increasing KSI’s capacity to feed program participants and purchase needed equipment. KSI is a partner agency with the Food Bank of Delaware and received these funds through Food Lion Feeds, The Great Pantry Makeover effort. In addition to funding, local Food Lion associates also donated volunteer hours to physically makeover KSI’s food pantry.

KSI provides both breakfast and lunch to its program participants. In addition to its food service program, KSI also provides vocational training, employment, community integration, transportation, day habilitation, and life enrichment services to individuals with disabilities throughout Sussex and Kent Counties. KSI, a not for profit agency, is committed to making all reasonable accommodations in order to ensure that its programs and services are as accessible as possible to as many people as possible.
