New Four-Way Stop Sign Configuration at the Intersection of Turkey Point Road and Peach Basket Road

The Department of Transportation’s (DelDOT) Traffic Section is implementing a four-way stop configuration at the intersection of Turkey Point Road and Peach Basket Road. The installation is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Monday, September 11, pending weather. In the event of inclement weather, the installation of the signage will be on Tuesday, September 12 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
These changes are being made in order to improve the safety of the road system and to reduce the likelihood of future crashes at this intersection.
Message boards will be placed in the area to alert motorists of the new traffic pattern. Flaggers will be on site during the duration of the work.
