SR 1 NB/SB Closed - Overturned Fuel Tanker Truck

The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) is advising motorists that SR 1 northbound is closed at North Smyrna Exit 119 AND SR 1 southbound is closed at DE 299 due to an overturned fuel tanker truck. Motorists should take US 13 to their destination. This will be an extended closure in both directions as it is a HAZMAT situation.
DelDOT’s Transportation Management Center (TMC) and WTMC-1380 AM provides motorists real-time traffic conditions throughout the state.
