Dover Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that Nicole Heathington has been selected as one of the 78 Crashers representing all 50 states and the District of Columbia to attend the GAC Crash 2018.
Crash the GAC is a career-changing program for credit union young professionals that allows them to participate and experience CUNA’s Governmental Affairs Conference in a dynamic way with exclusive networking opportunities and mentoring sessions with industry leaders. The GAC benefits from their enthusiasm and fresh perspectives, and the movement is invigorated by a new generation of fired-up advocates who have learned how to reach out to legislators to effect change.”
Nicole stated “I am extremely honored and very excited to have been chosen as a 2018 Crash the GAC representative. I have only been a member and an employee of a credit union for the past 4 years and absolutely love what we (credit unions) stand for. I am looking forward to spending time with my credit union peers from all across America, listening to George W Bush speak, and learning as much as possible about the government’s role in credit union business.”
Dover Federal’s CEO, Chaz Rzewnicki stated: “We are extremely excited that Nicole has been chosen as a GAC Crasher! As a rising star in our management team and a passionate credit union advocate, this opportunity is very well deserved. The credit union movement is truly lucky to have Nicole on our side. I really look forward to Nicole’s continued growth in all areas of “Credit Unions”.
Dover Federal Credit Union is the largest credit union in the state of Delaware, with a membership of over 48,000. Dover Federal has offices in Smyrna, New Castle, Milford, and Dover, including one at Dover Air Force Base. To experience the Dover Federal Credit Union difference, visit www.doverfcu.com.
