KSI’s Aktion Club raffled a $100 Gift Certificate donated by Chuck Ivins, owner of Ivins Florist in Farmington, just in time for Mother’s Day. Proceeds from the raffle will help the Aktion Club with ongoing member activities.

Aktion Clubs are community service organizations for adults with developmental disabilities sponsored by Kiwanis International.  Among other projects, KSI’s Aktion Club also does a “HOLIDAY BABIES” project. Each Mother’s Day, Labor Day, and Christmas they give goody bags to the maternity ward at Bayhealth Milford Memorial which contain mittens, a blanket & a donated handmade hat. Throughout the year they plan activities and fundraisers to become more engaged with the community.

KSI is a not for profit agency, providing vocational training, employment, supported employment, community integration, transportation, day habilitation, and nutritional services to individuals with disabilities throughout Kent and Sussex Counties.  KSI is committed to making all reasonable accommodations in order to ensure that our programs and services are as accessible as possible to as many people as possible.
