The Amazing Chase brought life,
hometown pride, and good-natured competition to Downtown Dover for the third
year in a row on Thursday, September 12th. Fourteen teams, with crazy, creative names, donned their unique costumes, grabbed their first clues and took off at break-neck speed through center city. The Chase was on – and it promised to be nothing short of AMAZING!
Each team had to solve clues in order to find the ten participating member merchant locations. Upon arrival at each location, they were given a challenge. In order to move on directly, they were required to successfully complete the challenge. The challenges involved dressing up in crazy items, answering silly trivia questions, performing stunts, etc. Of course, they had to do all of this as quickly as possible in order to triumph over the other teams who were doing the same things… after all, it was the first team to finish that would win the cash prize and bragging rights! Our Downtown became a complete frenzy of fast fun!
