The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce (CDCC) hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Jonathan’s Landing on Thursday, September 10^th, at 4 pm. The ceremony was held at their location at 1309 Ponderosa Drive in Magnolia. Chamber members, ambassadors, and staff members joined the team at Jonathan’s Landing as they celebrated the reinvention of Jonathan’s Landing Golf Club and the grand opening of the newly renovated Lighthouse Ballroom. 

The owners and new management company for Jonathan’s Landing have partnered to reinvigorate Jonathan’s Landing not only as a golf destination, but more aptly, as an event venue. The renovations to the golf course and the Clubhouse since April 2019 have been extensive. This ribbon cutting ceremony will be a great way to show off what they’ve accomplished and invite the pubic in for a sneak peek!  

Jonathan’s Landing Golf Club is one of Delaware’s most frequently played public golf courses since it’s beginning in 1996. Its distinctive marshland, links-style layout, undulating greens, subtle elevation changes, and windswept views make it a wonderful place to enjoy a day of high-quality golf.  Challenging for more experienced golfers yet still forgiving enough for intermediate golfers to enjoy, Jonathan’s Landing is a course enjoyed by golfers at every level of play.

In addition to its beautiful course, Jonathan’s Landing is also the ideal location for anyone’s upcoming celebration. The newly renovated clubhouse at Jonathan’s Landing features the bright and inviting Lighthouse Ballroom, designed to accommodate up to 175 guests, with a large dance area, full-service bar, and wrap-around deck overlooking the golf course. From weddings to shower, proms to parties, corporate events to memorial events, the golf course and surrounding area are the ideal backdrop for memories and photos that will last a lifetime. The team at the Lighthouse Ballroom offers each client one-on-one attention, holding their hand through the event process from start to finish, helping them bring the vision of their special day to life. They pride themselves in doing their best to and handle all the details by being a one stop shop event venue.
