The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Leadership Techniques, LLC, on Tuesday, February 22nd, at 11:30 am. The event was held at the CDCC Office at 435 N. DuPont Highway, in Dover. Chamber members and friends joined Lisa Hammer and David Newman to celebrate their relocation to Delaware, where they are excited to “Teach from the Beach!”
The mission of Leadership Techniques, LLC, is
to help make the world a better place by helping frontline leaders who want to
create motivational and psychologically safe environments in which their teams
can do their best work and achieve incredible results! As Project Management and Leadership
trainers, Lisa and David offer certification courses in the most popular
certifications available today (PMP, DASM, DASSM). They also offer training and consulting
services in employee engagement and the soft skills. Interpersonal
Communications, Emotional Intelligence and Servant Leadership are among some of
their most popular offerings.
Leadership Techniques, LLC, got its start on January 13, 2010, in Frederick, Maryland. They are celebrating 12 years in business! David and Lisa recently relocated their company (and their families) to Delaware, a move they describe as a “dream come true.” They love the area and feel confident that their unique team approach to leadership training will be a huge hit here in the First State!
Leadership Techniques, LLC, is very excited to share that they
have added an exciting new element to our training
profile: Everything DiSC®. The DiSC® assessments are one of the
most popular tools in use today to help increase engagement and improve
workplace communications. In 2022, they
will offer two versions of Everything Disc: Workplace® (the basic
profile) and Agile EQ® (which focuses on Emotional Intelligence). Using
these tools helps people understand their differences and similarities and can
greatly improve office productivity.
Leadership Techniques, LLC, is a proud member of the Delaware Business
Community and is eager to find ways to give back. They are hopeful that they will have
opportunities similar to those in which they have participated in the
past. Lisa and David have both served in leadership
position on the boards of community-oriented volunteer organizations, from
Mission of Mercy, a program that provides free and unquestioned medical care to
its patients, to helping with community cleanups and helping to plan events to
raise money or bring attention to various community causes. They have been
quite involved in their community over the years with special attention to
Veterans and those in need. They certainly hope to continue in this regard in
their new community and they intend to be as involved as time and the community
allows!
