The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce (CDCC) celebrated a ribbon cutting for ClearCaptions on Friday February 25, 2022, at Harrington Raceway & Casino’s Gold Room. The ribbon cutting occurred during the CDCC’s second annual Home & Garden Show. Kathleen Cesario and the team from ClearCaptions, along with Chamber members and staff, were happy to celebrate ClearCaptions’ new membership with The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce.

The mission of ClearCaptions is to serve the hard-of-hearing community with real-time Phone Captioning. ClearCaptions hopes to make communication easier for everyone, especially those with hearing impairments and difficulty making phone calls. ClearCaptions recognizes the need for effective communication, and their goal is to keep our communities connected through clear methods of communication for everyone. ClearCaptions intends to remove problematic barriers to free communication to their customers and their families and friends through their captioning services. 

ClearCaptions offers home and mobile phone products that display real-time phone captions of the speakers’ voice on an easy-to-use touch screen. This company is powered by a federally managed program to offer accurate captions of speaker’s voices. This service that ClearCaptions provides is completely free of cost; installation and lifetime support included! With ClearCaptions, there is no need to struggle with hearing phone calls anymore, now the receiver can see what their caller is saying, which makes for smoother and more accurate communication for both parties.
