The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce (CDCC) hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for The Wedding Boutique on Saturday, September 29th, at 12pm. The event was held at 123-125 W. Loockerman St in Downtown Dover. Chamber members and friends joined owners Tammy & Ashley Robinson to celebrate their 25th Anniversary, new location, and expanded showroom!
Since its founding 25 years ago, the Wedding Boutique has been the go-to destination for brides-to-be and couples seeking to create the wedding of their dreams. Over the years, the boutique has evolved and adapted to changing trends while maintaining its unwavering commitment to providing top-notch service and a curated selection of exquisite wedding attire and accessories. The Wedding Boutique, located in the heart of Downtown Dover, has been a trusted source for exquisite bridal, wedding, and formal attires such as bridal gowns, tuxedo rentals, and formal wear for any occasion, including homecoming. They will also be offering a small venue room for gatherings under 50 people to rent starting in the winter of 2023. Tammy and Ashley are committed to providing exceptional service and a handpicked selection of designer gowns and accessories. The Wedding Boutique has helped countless people create unforgettable experiences and look their very best!
“Our mission is to create special memories by offering a warm and inviting environment to spend time with family and friends. We know that finding a unique gown for your wedding, prom or formal event is one of the most memorable moments that we are lucky to be a part of,” shared Ashley Robinson.
The Wedding Boutique started selling wedding invitations in 1998 and grew into the bridal and formal wear store they are today. “The inspiration comes from Juiett, our mother and grandmother. She operated a catering service offering food and wedding cakes. Seeing her passion and love for cooking for one of the most important events in a couple’s life sparked the interest in the attire side of the wedding industry. Having the chance to help create a special memory in a couple’s life means a lot to us,” Robinson continued.
The Wedding Boutique, a cherished cornerstone of Downtown Dover, is thrilled to continue serving the community. The milestone event was a momentous occasion, complete with glamour, excitement, exclusive deals, refreshments, and the enchantment that has defined the boutique's legacy over the past two and a half decades.
Apart from serving their local community with fabulous attire, the Wedding Boutique is currently looking for ways to give back to the community in ways that benefit the best. They are excited to become more involved with the community very soon!
