The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce (CDCC) hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Crumbl Dover on March 20th, 2024, at 4pm. The event was held at 50 N. Dupont Highway, Suite 10 in Dover. Chamber members and friends joined owners Leo & Carolyn Campero and their daughter, to celebrate the Grand Opening of Crumbl!
Crumbl Cookies started with a “big dream, two cousins, and the perfect combination of flour, sugar, and chocolate chips,” per co-founders, Jason McGowan (CEO) & Sawyer Hemsley (COO). Since opening their first location in Utah in 2017, today, Crumbl, has expanded to 800+ bakeries across all 50 states. This fact makes Crumbl the fastest growing U.S. cookie company in 2023. Crumbl Dover is now the 2nd Crumbl location to bring smiles to the State of Delaware. No matter how large the company grows, leadership strives to continue to operate with family-oriented and passionate professionals, such as the Campero family.

“Leo was stationed at Dover AFB in 2022. At our last duty station, Phoenix Arizona, we fell in love with Crumbl and watched it grow and expand in our 6 years we were there. When we arrived in Dover and saw there was no Crumbl, as an avid business owner, we decided to share the Crumbl love with Kent County,” shared Carolyn Campero. “We are excited to get involved in the community, sponsoring and supporting organizations that are making a difference in our area,” she concluded.
