CNU Fit, Dover’s local private fitness studio, recently welcomed a new Office Manager to join their family, moving their current Office Manager to the Health Coach position.
CNU Fit specializes in empowering individuals to “be the best versions of themselves,” according to their vision statement, by helping clients boost their energy, confidence, and attain sustainable weight loss.
In order to better accomplish this, CEO and founder Evans Armantrading decided that his current Office Manager, Gabrielle Webb, would be better suited for the health coach position, considering her background.
Webb has a degree in Kinesiology, and found her passion for fitness when she was 19. Once she discovered how to train her body right to reach her goals, she decided she wanted to make a career out of helping others make their own fitness aspirations a reality. Though Webb has spent the last year serving as CNU Fit’s Office Manager, she is currently completing her certification as a Health Coach through American Council on Exercise and is excited about transitioning into CNU Fit’s Health Coach role.
CNU Fit’s new Office Manager, Alyssa Guinn, recently moved to Delaware from New Hampshire because her husband was assigned to Dover AFB as his first duty station. She graduated from New England College in an accelerated program, receiving her degree in Creative Writing in three years instead of the traditional four. Guinn is currently working on her Masters of Fine Arts degree in a low residency program at Vermont College of Fine Arts, but has worked as a journalist and editor for the past few years before joining the CNU Fit family.
“If I hadn’t gone into writing, I would have gone into fitness related studies,” Guinn said. “Now I can have the best of both worlds.”
In addition to the changes in the office, Armantrading has outlined new goals for CNU Fit, including expanding to new locations in Milford and Middletown within the next few years.
