Elizabeth D. Albano promoted to Executive Vice President of Artisans’ Bank

Artisans’ Bank announced the promotion of Elizabeth D. Albano, currently Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, to the position of Executive Vice President  and Chief Financial Officer, effective July 1, 2017.  Mrs. Albano has been employed by Artisans’ Bank for over 25 years, serving in a variety of roles with increasing levels of responsibility.  Beginning as a Management Trainee within the Audit Department, Mrs. Albano’s career transitioned to the Finance Division where she has progressed through various duties including Controller and Chief Financial Officer.  Mrs. Albano has made key contributions in the areas of administrative cost control, staff development and strategic planning.  In her new role of Executive Vice President, Mrs. Albano will play an important part in the next phase of Artisans’ Bank, working with the senior leadership team and the Board of Directors to formulate strategies to drive growth and income.
Mrs. Albano is a graduate of Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD with a B.S. in Business and Finance.  She currently serves on the Board of the Delaware Bankers Association.  Mrs. Albano has donated her time to several local organizations including the Ronald McDonald House, the Food Bank of DE and Ursuline Academy.    She resides in Wilmington, DE with her husband and two daughters.
