The Kent Economic Partnership (KEP) and Delaware Prosperity Partnership (DPP) are excited to announce that Stolzfus LLC has secured Site Readiness Grant Funding to begin the site work on a large 67-acre industrial property in Dover DE. With plans for a 280,000 square foot industrial building, a 40,000 square foot building, and four 9,900 sqare foot buildings, this project is ready to generate new job opportunities by not only attracting new businesses but also providing an ideal location for local companies to expand their operations.

"This investment is a game-changer for Kent County and the State of Delaware, providing an excellent opportunity to create new jobs, attract new businesses, and strengthen our economy. We are thrilled to see this project move forward and look forward to the opportunities that arise from it."
The Site Readiness Grant, created by the Division of Small Business to prepare large acreage sites for businesses, has awarded Stoltzfus LLC as the 17th recipient since its inception in 2022. This is Kent County's 6th Site Readiness Grant, with almost $4.6 million in total matching grant funds, these projects in Kent County are set to stimulate over $43 million in new capital investment.
"The Site Readiness Fund helps ensure the state has an ample inventory of sites ready for new investments and jobs, which ultimately encourages businesses to choose Delaware for their location or expansion," said Becky Harrington, DPP Vice President, Business Development. "This latest award to Stoltzfus LLC will place a dormant industrial site back into play in Central Delaware, where industrial space is in high demand."
With the successful utilization of the Site Readiness Fund, Kent County is poised to witness substantial capital investment and further establish itself as a sought-after destination for businesses in need of industrial space.
