Our internal “Ride Our Service” Challenge encourages employees to ride our service once a month to better understand the customer experience and offer suggestions to improve service,” said John Sisson, Chief Executive Officer, Delaware Transit Corporation. “We’re proud of the service we offer which is why we incentivize our employees to ride with free service.”
By participating in DART’s Delaware Commute Solutions free program, DTC employees can log their commutes to track the miles, money and pollution saved by their clean commute, and qualify for rewards, like monthly drawings. Sixteen percent of DTC employees participate in the program exceeding the minimum threshold of participation established by Best Workplaces for Commuters.
During the COVID -19 pandemic, many DTC employees are working from home, avoiding the commute altogether.
