The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce (CDCC) hosted a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for S & T Southern Smokehouse BBQ, on Friday, September 20th, at noon. The event was held at 324 N. DuPont Blvd. in Smyrna. Chamber members and friends joined owner Tynetta Douglas and her husband Shawn to celebrate their location in a new state, their new business, new opportunities, new clients, and new ways to service their community!

Southern Smokehouse BBQ, Inc. was established due to the high demand for authentic southern smokehouse BBQ. S & T offers a delicate mixture of Southern BBQ and Soul Food - they could be called a southern soul BBQ fusion eatery! The chefs at S & T have been cooking for years, using recipes passed down from generation to generation. All their food, from their sweet and savory BBQ sauce to their tender smoked ribs, is cooked low and slow over a wood fire and every morsel is made from pure love. Their sides are all made from scratch and seasoned with their special house blend seasoning. Their mission is to provide delicious comfort food to all, made from quality ingredients and trusted recipes, and always enhanced with a little bit of BOOM and a sprinkle of ZAAA!

S & T Southern Smokehouse BBQ offers catering for all occasions such as weddings, parties, BBQ gatherings, corporate events, etc. The S & T team chose Delaware and located here because of the anticipated growth that is on the way for this region. They are optimistic about a great future here!

The folks at S & T place a high priority on community service. Currently, they donate to the local food banks and give back to the community when they can. They look forward to a time when they can partner with the local school districts and offer culinary services and classes to the students.
