CDCC Joins the Clean Eatz Cafe for a Ribbon Cutting to celebrate their Grand Opening
The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce (CDCC) hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Clean Eatz cafe on Thursday, September 26, 12:00 p.m. at 1128 Forrest Ave, Unit C in Dover. Chamber members and friends joined owners Andrea and Ryan Maloney and their team to celebrate the grand opening of the Clean Eatz cafe.
Clean Eatz is a healthy lifestyle cafe offering several options for affordable, delicious and properly portioned meals. They are heart driven to change lives through balanced food, thought provoking education and motivational support that inspire results. They know personal wellness is not a one size fits all, so they craft nutritional products and fitness opportunities that meet the needs of EVERY type of lifestyle.
Andrea and Ryan decided to open Clean Eatz in Dover after visiting one of the cafes in Ohio while at their son’s ice hockey tournament. Andrea explains, “Working in healthcare for 18 years, I know the importance of nutrition and lifestyle choices for sustainable longevity. When we discovered Clean Eats, we began looking into the franchise to bring the concept to our hometown.”
Clean Eatz offers several options for affordable, well-portioned meals. They have a cafe menu that offers wraps, flatbreads, build-your-own bowls, burgers, protein smoothies and protein coffees. They also make their own sweet treats with a protein kick to satisfy your sweet tooth. The grab and go section features fresh meals made in the cafe that are immediately frozen to offer a quick, convenient option for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The weekly meal plan offers five lunch and dinner options, one breakfast option as well as add-ons such as pizzas and salads - no subscription required.
In addition to the Maloney’s passion for healthy eating, they have an interest in giving back to the community. Their core value: P.E.O.P.L.E., represents Principle, Empower, Ownership, Passion, Lifestyle, Epic. With this value in mind, Clean Eatz hosts an annual “WE CHANGE LIVEZ” challenge to encourage participants to share their Clean Eatz success stories. The winner receives several prizes including 12 weeks of meals and the chance to win a grand prize of $25,000. Clean Eatz sees this as a great way to have community involvement in building healthier lifestyle choices.
