EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
College accounting degree. CIA required or must sit for CIA exam within the first year of hire.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Thorough knowledge of GAAP, in-depth knowledge of internal audit procedures/ standards, government regulations, and Credit Union operations.
Understanding of audit and other related computer applications.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
At least five years of internal auditing experience in a financial institution required.
Supervisory experience required.
